Fee Structure at Creative Arts Psychotherapy

Why CAP?

Most therapy focuses on understanding why you feel the way you do. We work with what's still happening inside you, helping your body process and release trauma responses that keep you in survival mode.

You understand your patterns. Maybe you've even done therapy before. But you're still stuck. That's because insight doesn't change your nervous system, and your nervous system is where trauma lives.

What You're Investing In:

Our approach integrates somatic experiencing, creative arts therapy, and Gestalt methods. We're not just talking about your patterns; we're interrupting them at the level where they're stored, so you can access relationship, presence, and aliveness again.

Every CAP clinician receives ongoing clinical supervision and advanced training in our integrative model. You're working with a therapist who has access to expert consultation when the work gets complex — not someone practicing in isolation.

Sessions are 45 minutes. We're out-of-network and provide superbills for insurance reimbursement.

Why Invest in Therapy?

Therapy is an investment, not just of time or money, but of presence, courage, and care. At Creative Arts Psychotherapy, we believe that real, lasting change doesn’t happen just by talking about your life, it happens through direct, embodied experience.

Our work is rooted in Gestalt, Somatic, and Creative Arts Therapies — integrative approaches that engage the whole self: body, mind, and nervous system. These modalities are informed by contemporary neuroscience and attachment theory, and are designed to activate not only cognitive insight but also emotional, sensory, and relational processing.

Rather than relying solely on verbal reflection, experiential therapy invites you to feel, move, express, and connect in new ways, allowing the therapeutic process to be lived and embodied, not just intellectually understood. This kind of experiential work helps:

  • Interrupt long-held patterns stored in the body

  • Deepen your capacity for emotional regulation and relational intimacy

  • Access creativity and insight that lives beyond words

For many clients, this process leads to a sense of aliveness, connection, and clarity that talk therapy alone may not reach. If you’ve tried more traditional approaches and found yourself stuck, experiential therapy may offer the shift you’ve been seeking.
